  4. Real time processing of MIDI data
  5. ------------------------------

  7. The application allows the user to design "effects" that process MIDI data 
  8. in real-time.  The user designs an effect by connecting together icons.  An 
  9. icon represents a simple computation (delay, transposition, etc...) and the 
  10. connections represent the flow of MIDI data.
  11.  
  12. MIDI files can be read and processed along with serial input.  The resultant 
  13. MIDI data stream can then be recorded and stored as a MIDI file and/or be 
  14. sent as serial output.

  16. This package includes the application, documentation, and example files.
  17.  
  18. Changes since version 0.32 include :

  20. 1 - MultiFinder support.
  21. 2 - System Exclusive thru option.
  22. 3 - Auto Install Tool selection for installing effect icons.
  23. 4 - Effect icons can be given titles.
  24. 5 - New effect icons, including an envelope generator for controls.
  25. 6 - Parameter values can be entered via mouse scrolling, keyboard input, or
  26.     MIDI input.

  31. 2 - Bug fix in the Control Envelope module.  Control values were always 
  32. scaled by velocity, regardless of the setting of the "Scale Values by" 
  33. check box.

  37. 1 - Delay for All Notes Off command, notes sent at 480 notes per second.
  38. 2 - Speed configuration in the Setup Midi dialog.
  39. 3 - MIDI Manager compatibility.

  41. 6 - Multiple icon selections.
  42. 5 - Implemented icon Cut/Paste/Clear/Duplicate operations.
  43. 6 - Other user interface enhancements.
